In contrast to pipes made of metallic materials the PE-Xc pipes have substantial advantages.
Problems with aggressive waters, running noises, corrosion and incrustations do not arise.
Owing to the low weight a trouble – free laying is ensured. They are particularly suited for the sections: floor heating, wall heating, sanitary installation and climatic floor.
On some markets PE-MD pipes (polyethylene pipes of medium density) are possibly applied in low temperature installations.
The quality control before, during and after the productions makes sure that only plastic pipes are delivered which guarantee greatest safety over decades.
Properties:
- Very good long-term internal pressure resistance.
- Max. operating conditions: 95 C and 6 bar, temporarily 110 C.
- excellent thermal ageing stability, thus on damages caused by thermal ageing.
- Stress cracking resistance.
- Chemical resistance to heating water additives and inhibitors.
- Installation at low temperatures possible.

- High rapid crack propagation resistance and abrasion resistance.
- High impact resistance.
- Smooth inner surfaces, ie. Minimal pressure loss and no incrustations.
