Thanks to the highly sophisticated laser welding technique becker plastic has developed with regard to the aluminium sheathing of the PE-X pipes the advantages of the plastic pipe and of the metal pipe have been combined. Thus, the PEXTEC multi-layer pipe could be conceived.

Due to its resistance, safety and trouble – free handling it is the ideal pipe for heating and plumbing installations.
The PEXTEC laser pipe is particularly suited for the potable water supply and as connecting pipe for radiator systems.

Whether we are dealing with buildings in the conventional style, with feeding pipes for perimeter bands or with the renovation of old buildings, whether with the installation of wall and underfloor heating systems or with the installation of conditioning and cooling units, the PEXTEC multi – layer pipe has always proved its great reliability.

In contrast to many other welding methods the butt laser welding enables the use of a thick- walled basic pipe without the total pipe dia- meter being considerably increased. The over- lapping of the aluminium is avoided, the form- ation of a uniform layer thickness is ensured which enables an optimum adjustment of the multi – layer pipe to the fitting.
