ZILMET Plate Heat Exchangers
Zilmet’s dismantable plate heat exchangers are designed with stainless steel plates, shaped to optimize heat exchange. These plates are separated by gaskets made of materials chosen to match the required performance, all enclosed in a painted carbon steel frame.
The unique shape of the plates ensures turbulent fluid motion inside, leading to a high thermal exchange coefficient. As a result, these heat exchangers offer impressive thermal efficiency in compact sizes and lightweight designs.

Technical Features:
Plates:
- Made of 316L stainless steel, 0.5mm thick for superior heat transfer and corrosion resistance.
Gaskets:
- Standard EPDM gaskets (140°C max temperature).
- Optional NBR gaskets (110°C max temperature) for specific applications (e.g., with gasoline or oils).
Frames:
- Carbon steel frame, painted with epoxy powders for durability.
- Designed to withstand the rated pressures.
Testing:
- All Zilmet heat exchangers are pressure-tested at 1.5 times their rated pressure before shipment.
Brazed Heat Exchangers (ZB Series)
Zilmet’s brazed heat exchangers are designed for low-temperature heating systems, solar applications, and swimming pool heating. The ZB series uses copper brazing to ensure optimal performance in compact, durable units.
